Bellator 221 results, highlights: Patricio & # 39; Pitbull & # 39; Freire stuns Michael Chandler with TKO in the first round

Bellator MMA has another simultaneous champion of two divisions in their hands. In the Bellator 221 main event on Saturday night in Chicago, current featherweight champion Patricio "Pitbull" Freire surprised everyone by getting a first-round TKO victory over Michael Chandler to claim the lightweight title of Bellator

The end of the championship came when Pitbull landed completely on the back of Chandler's head. On the ground, Pitbull followed with a flurry of punches when Chandler could not show any kind of defense, which led to the arrest that many did not see in this fight of resentment.

After the fight, Pitbull noticed the possibility of the arrest coming a little earlier, but he only cared about one thing: the fact that he only contributed to his award-winning Bellator MMA legacy on Saturday night.

"I do not give an f-k! I'm the champion now," Pitbull said.

With the victory, Pitbull joins Ryan Bader (light heavyweight and heavyweight) as a simultaneous two-division champion currently active in Bellator MMA.
