Obama is no stranger to mixing messages of hope and change with a touch of humor.
On Tuesday Jimmy Kimmel Live held his third annual shopathon (RED) to help in the fight against AIDS, and President Obama was there to speak to the nation about the virus.
He pointed to the fact that there were reasons for hope. "Since the peak of the virus," Obama said, "AIDS-related deaths have been reduced by half."
He also tried to motivate people to join the fight by promising a pilot test of Air Force 1, and offering to share his clbadified files on "the aliens."
Unfortunately, these are no longer within your power, but it is the idea that counts.
