“I dismissed him after last night,” Harbaugh said smiling after Friday’s practice.
Kansas City head coach Andy Reid became a popular target for social media memes, along with laughter after casting his face after a 34–20 win over the Houston Texans on Thursday night. NFL coaches and staff members on the sideline must wear masks during the coronovirus epidemic, and Reid chose personal protective equipment that soon became a topic of discussion in the football world.
Harboff has categorized neck garter in practice. But, because he uses glasses to play cards during games, he tried on a face shield.
“I looked in the mirror, and I was like, ‘Eh, I don’t think so,” said Harbag, whose team will host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Harboid is one of Reid’s best friends, and even Harbag’s wife, Ingrid, couldn’t joke about a face shield.
“He told me, in the Kansas City area, there’s going to be a lot of Halloween outfits with face shields and mustaches – and foggy face shields,” Harbag said. “So, wow, this is tough.”
If Reid doesn’t switch to the mask, Herbaugh will get a closer look at that face shield in two weeks when the Rens host the majors in football on Monday night.
