It generally appears, throughout the trademark opening badertion of her weekly Fox News program Justice with Judge Jeanine — typically a wild, eight to 10 minute rant — that Judge Jeanine Pirro can speak a mile a minute.
On Sunday, the decide was cited for driving two miles a minute.
According to the New York Daily News, Pirro was ticketed for extreme rushing when she was clocked by police in Tioga County, NY for going 119 MPH (!) in a 65 MPH zone.
The incident happened in the course of the afternoon.
“I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didn’t realize how fast I was driving,” Pirro stated in an announcement via Fox News, in response to the News. “I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences.”
Those penalties might embody forfeiture of her license. The News factors out that in New York state, a driver caught rushing greater than 40 MPH can have their license suspended. Pirro was a whopping 54 over the velocity restrict.
If Pirro contests the quotation, she’ll need to return Tioga County to combat it — roughly 225 miles exterior of New York City.
