ATLANTA – As cold air advances to northern Georgia on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, there is a possibility that winter weather forms
A warning has been issued of winter storm for Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Dawson, Lumpkin and the white counties.
A winter weather advisory was issued for parts of northern Georgia and the Atlanta subway beginning at 5 am Friday.
Counties included in the ad : Murray, Gordon, Pickens, Dawson, Floyd, Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Polk, Paulding, Cobb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Haralson, Carroll, Douglas, DeKalb, Ear, Coweta, Fayette, Clayton, Troup
Meteorologist Head of Severe Weather Team Glenn Burns said subway parts could see up to an inch of snow, with the possibility of black ice on Saturday morning.

"As with any type of weather system that comes in that brings us precipitation, there are some areas that are going to get more, some areas less," Burns said. Do not get anything at all.  Burns said that we will really begin to see the climate transition around 3 am
"We're not going to see sub-zero temperatures all day tomorrow," Burns said.
Burns said before 6 a. some areas will begin to see a mix of rain / snow that will continue to expand during the morning.

. "As we move toward 11, 12 pm, one more snow band is possible heavy, "said Burns." But we are still above the freezing point on the ground. "
By Friday night, the winter weather is moving toward South Carolina.
Burns said the winter mix will have completely disappeared by Friday night, with a maximum of 38 expected for the day.
Saturday will be another cold day with losses of up to 30 degrees, but a lot of sunshine with a maximum of 43.
Temps will warm up a little on Monday, with a maximum of around 52 degrees.
