Three cars were hit in a flurry of gunfire Friday night in north Portland, police said.
Portland Police responded to reports of shooting in the area of North Williams Avenue and Monroe Street in the Eliot neighborhood at 11:25 p.m.
Officers found a white Dodge Magnum with bullet marks hitting three unoccupied parked cars. Two of the cars and a business were also hit by gunfire.
At least 26 shots were fired, police said.
The woman driving the Dodge was nearby and unharmed, police said. It is unclear why his car was “apparently a target,” police said.
The incident is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
