Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update adds deleted content

A new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla An update has been released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC that re-adds content that was removed by the last update because the previous update broke the game when adding it. If that sounds confusing it’s because it is.

Last week, Assassin’s creed Valhalla update 1.2 was released adding a lot of content. Then a few days later some of this content was removed because it was causing the game to crash. More specifically, the settlement decorations and the Ostara Festival quests that included decorations have been removed, so they can no longer be completed. That being said, with the latest update, all of this content has been added again, and now such content shouldn’t crash the game.

“We will roll out an update tomorrow, March 26 at 12:00 PM UTC, to address the crashes players face since the launch of the Ostara Festival,” writes Ubisoft. “Settlement decorations and decoration missions will be reactivated with this update.”

For now, it remains to be seen if the update will adequately and completely fix the crash issues related to the Ostara Festival. That said, judging from the responses to the tweet above, this won’t be enough. Players, or at least some players, are not very satisfied with the state of the game and this update will not fix this issue.
