Arson at the house of Roy Moore accuser

No arrests have been made, and there appears to be no connection to the allegations against Moore, the Etowah County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

"The ongoing investigation does not lead us to believe that the fire is related in any way to Roy Moore or the accusations made against him," the statement said. Johnson told CNN he lost everything in Wednesday's fire at a house in Gadsden where he lived for 10 years.

Tina Johnson's house caught fire on Wednesday, authorities said.
Johnson said she and her mother visited Moore's legal office in 1991 to discuss a custody dispute over Johnson's young son. Johnson said he was 28 years old at the time.

After the mother left the room, "She just grabbed me from behind, in my buttocks," Johnson said. "It's not just a squeeze."

Johnson was one of eight women who came forward to say that Moore acted inappropriately with them, and four said he followed them while they were teenagers and he was an adult.

Moore denied all charges

The Republican ran for the United States Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the United States Attorney General. Moore lost a second round last month to Doug Jones, a Democrat.
