Arizona Coach Mark Phelps Suspended 5 Days for NCAA Rules Violation

The Arizona Wildcats introduced Friday that they’ve suspended badistant basketball coach Mark Phelps 5 days with out pay for an unspecified violation of NCAA guidelines. 

According to ESPN.com’s Jeff Goodman, the suspension is unrelated to the FBI probe into corruption and bribery in school basketball that resulted within the federal indictment of former Wildcats badistant Emanuel “Book” Richardson. 

The Tucson Star‘s Zack Rosenblatt added senior ahead Keanu Pinder has been suspended for Friday’s season opener towards Northern Arizona after he violated NCAA guidelines. 

Pinder, who transferred earlier than the 2016-17 season from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, did not have a very mbadive position throughout his first 12 months with the Wildcats.
