The longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century will occur on July 27 [Internacional] – 07/11/2018



Mexico City .- On the night of July 27-28, the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century will occur, lasting approximately one hour and 43 minutes, according to information from earthsky.org.

With the partial eclipses that occur before and after the total eclipse, the moon will take three hours and 55 minutes to cross the Earth's threshold.

The eclipse will be seen mainly in the Eastern Hemisphere: Europe, Africa, Asia , Australia and New Zealand.

In South America the last stage of the eclipse may be perceived, while in North America it will not be perceived at all.
