Apple has published lists of the most popular iPhone and iPad applications for 2017.
Perhaps, as expected, the top positions are taken by major technology brands: the first six are Snap, Facebook and Google, followed by Netflix, Spotify and Uber.
Apple said it has seen four significant trends in applications during the year: the introduction of applications and augmented reality games; the increase of competitive games in real time; applications focused on mental health and mindfulness; and applications to tell stories and read.
