Apple Marina Bay Sands opens in Singapore on Thursday

Apple has a rich history of more than 40 years in Singapore, starting with Ang Mo Kio’s first corporate office. In 1981, the team was responsible for producing the majority of printed circuit boards for Apple II computers worldwide. Since then, Apple has expanded its corporate and retail presence, and now supports more than 55,000 jobs across the entire Apple ecosystem.

The 148-man team at Apple Marina Bay Sands, which collectively speak 23 languages, will welcome visitors on September 10 for the first time on September 10 in Sgt. The store will implement the same stringent health measures for employees and visitors seen at all Apple Store locations, including a facade requirement, temperature checks and social disturbances.

To ensure the health and wellbeing of guests, a visit to the Apple Marina Bay Sands on Thursday will be by appointment only. Customers can visit Apple.com/sg/marinabaysands to choose from the available time, and each non-transferable reservation accepts one person. Capacity will be limited, so guests can experience waiting times before entering the store.
