A 16-year-old boy was arrested for taking pictures and killing his foster mom and two siblings at their Roseburg residence.
Sgt. Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office stated Wednesday the boy, who has been recognized as 16-year-old Kevin Wayne Adams, was booked right into a juvenile detention facility on three counts of aggravated homicide.
Lt. Chris Merrifield stated in courtroom papers that Robert Adams, the boy’s foster father, known as emergency dispatchers Tuesday evening to report the shootings west of Roseburg. He recognized the deceased as his spouse, Donya Adams; daughter, Amory Adams; and foster daughter, Payshience Adams.
Merrifield stated the boy advised investigators he shot his family members a number of instances with a handgun, after which waited for his foster father to return residence. The father advised police that the teenager advised him to name police and never go inside the home.
