Anthem replaces CEO Joe Swedish with UnitedHealth govt

Anthem has introduced that former UnitedHealthcare CEO Gail Ok. Boudreaux has been named the insurer’s named CEO and president, changing Joseph R. Swedish, efficient Nov. 20.

Boudreaux beforehand served as govt vice chairman of Health Care Services Corp. with duty for Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans in Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, and earlier than that, as president of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois.
