Those recently going back to playing Accent Core will probably see a complete overhaul of Anji’s animations, which is not surprising given that this is their first chance to fight in the realm of three dimensions.

While most of his attacks remain intact, however, we get to see his Fujin in particular several times, though we only see what is happening for it right now.

One place that is rarely absent is his Kai stomps right now, which gives him tons of pressure and mixup scenarios, so it would be a shame if he did not make a comeback in Strive.

Anji apparently also maintains his Butterfly projectile and overall aesthetics as it would not really be without him with the Guard Point counter mechanic that is also seen some time.

Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to release worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC on April 9, 2021, though players may gain access to the Deluxe / Ultimate Edition just days before pre-ordering.

While no character teasing / appears as the identity of the last member of Strive’s roster, Arcis finally confirms that the next announcement is due in February 2021. You can check out the new trailer below.
