Amazon warns PS5 preorder customers that their consoles may ship late

Citing high demand, Amazon is emailing customers who have already told PlayStation 5 that their console may not arrive on November 12, the day of release.

“Hello,” reads Amazon’s message to prompt customers, “We are contacting you about your order for the PlayStation 5 console so that you know in advance that the day it was released due to high demand You may not receive this item. “I will make every effort to release the item as soon as possible.”

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for additional comment.
