All lanes open at Bay Bridge after the toll worker died in an accident

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Several closures went into effect after a worker from the Bay Bridge house was killed during his shift on Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Si Si 46-year-old Han was beaten and killed by Daniel Berk, 32, at around 5:00 am

Berk, a resident of Foster City, was arrested under Suspicion of driving under the influence.

While the Caltrans teams were investigating the damage, there were multiple active closures:
1) The connecting ramp from Interstate 880 northbound to Interstate 80 remains closed.
2) HOV overflight from I-80 west to the toll plaza.
3) The six toll booths will remain closed while the California Highway Patrol conducts a thorough investigation.

CHP cleared the scene just before 8:00 p.m.

The lane closure was established this morning, on I-80WB at Plaza Toll, due to a fatal collision, it is expected to be eliminated in 90 minutes. [19659003] – CHP Oakland (@CHPoakland) December 3, 2017
