As a teenager, Ines loved music and studied singing and guitar at the Escuela de Música Contemporánea, reports El Mundo .

Ines graduated from high school in 2002, the same year that she served as maid of honor on her sister's wedding with King Willem-Alexander, then a prince. His father, Jorge Horacio Zorreguieta – who worked as Secretary of Agriculture during the dictatorship of President Jorge Rafael Videla – was not authorized by Parliament to attend the nuptials due to his participation in the Dirty War of Argentina, which saw the disappearance and murder of thousands of Argentines. Inés was involved in the controversy when she took her last job in 2016 as director of the Office and Board of the General Directorate of Administration of the Executive Secretariat of the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies of the Presidency of the Nation. The protests were due to lack of adequate training and experience to participate in the coordination of the social policy of President Mauricio Macri Macri. The government came out in his defense, according to the Santiago Times saying that "a great exception" had been made for the employment of Ines.
