A small airplane landed within the heart, closed lanes of I-Four in Seminole County on Friday afternoon, in response to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Emergency automobiles responded to the scene close to exit 94. The interstate is open in each instructions, however visitors is transferring slowly.
The plane made an emergency touchdown on the close to eastbound lanes of I-Four, which aren’t but open to the general public, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Cannaday mentioned. She mentioned no highway closures have been reported.
Seminole Fire spokeswoman Sharon Gregory mentioned firefighters responded to the incident shortly after three:30 p.m., delaying drivers touring in rush hour visitors in each instructions.
There have been no accidents and no damages to the airplane have been reported.
It was not instantly clear what prompted the emergency touchdown. The incident is now being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration, Cannaday mentioned.
