There are several types of cancer.
On Saturday, January 27 at 12 noon, the highly anticipated Power of Purple event will begin at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand, and end at 12 midnight.
Cansa Relay for Life, originally scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2017, was postponed due to much-needed rain that fell in torrents.
This will be the fifth Cansa Relay for Life event held in Randfontein, by the community for the community, said the community mobilizer of Cansa, Thea Wille. The main objective of organizing the event is to celebrate, remember and fight against the terrible disease: cancer. The most important people in the event are the survivors.
There will be live entertainment from people like Tanya V, Franna, Monique West and many more. There will be lots of fun for the kids, including jumping castles and face painting. Adults can also prepare to have a good time. There will be fun team experiences during the night to raise funds for education, care and support services.
Why should I participate?
• Everyone's reason is unique
• Everyone is affected by cancer in some way
• The event unites people in the community
With each step you take, you are helping a Cansa in the fight against cancer.
