Boksburg hosted the Cansa Relay for Life in 2017, which is held annually and has the support of those who show their support to people affected by cancer.

A fun team experience during the night to raise funds for education, care and support services.

The event represents the hope that those who have lost cancer will never be forgotten, those who face will support cancer and one day conquer cancer.

The event is led by volunteers and owned by the community.

During the relay, the teams of friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers commit to keep at least one member walking the track at all times, because cancer never sleeps. Each team presents a commitment or registration fee.

Team records are as follows: R100 per team member and R50 for children between 6 and 12 years old.

For registration fees, interested teams can contact Yolandi Jacobs at 083 937 7187 or send an email to [email protected]
