Sifu, a new Kung Fu action game developed by Slocap, the team behind Absolver, will be released later this year for PC and consoles.
Revealed during the latest State of Play with a trailer, Sifu will feature intense Kung Fu combat and a gripping story in which a young student seeks revenge against those who murdered his entire family. During his quest, he will grow old each time he is defeated, but he will also become more skilled, able to face stronger opponents and ultimately avenge his family.
On the road to vengeance: The hunt for the killers will take you through the hidden corners of the city, from the gang-filled suburbs to the cold corridors of the corporate towers. You have one day and countless enemies on your way. Time will be the price to pay.
Adaptation is the way: Careful positioning and intelligent use of the environment to your advantage are keys to your survival. Use everything you have at your disposal: throwable objects, improvised weapons, windows and shelves … The odds are against you and you will not be offered mercy.
Training never ends: Kung Fu is a path for the body and mind. Learn from your mistakes, unlock unique abilities, and find the strength within yourself to master the devastating techniques of Pak-Mei Kung-Fu.
Sifu will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 later this year. A precise release date has not been confirmed yet.
