El Paso, Texas – A a male assistant approached reporters who were behind the cameras at President Trump's rally on Monday night.

The unidentified man ran down a staircase in the press section of the El Paso County Coliseum and jumped onto a platform where cameras recorded Trump's speech.

The man pushed a handful of cameras, causing them to collapse, and pushed the reporters, knocking some of them over the ledge about two feet high.

A reporter shouted: "Look for the police, call the police." The police were standing about 20 feet away near the assistants in other sections. A police officer ran into chaos after reporters had caught the intruder. The man was expelled from the headquarters, according to a Trump campaign official

Trump, recognizing the fight that stretched about 50 feet in front of him, asked if they were all right before returning to his speech.

It is not immediately clear if someone was seriously injured.
