A teenager who claimed to have undergone 50 surgeries to look like her idol, Angelina Jolie admitted that she faked everything to "entertain."
Sahar Tabar had been called "zombie" by cruel commentators after his skinny Instagram selfies went viral.
But, as Sun Online reported last week, many viewers had a hunch that the teen was using Photoshop to modify their images.
And now, Tabar, 19, has come clean and admitted that his scandalous and shocking aspect is not real.
Instead of being the result of surgery or drastic weight loss, the appearance of the Iranian teenager was created through a combination of makeup and computer magic.
Tabar told the Russian newscast Sputnik: "Now I can see that I have something in common with [Angelina Jolie] but I have fun, and it seems that someone is not my goal."
He added that his appearance, characterized by sunken cheeks, swollen and pouting lips, and bright blue eyes should not be taken at face value.
Tabar added: "With time I publish a photo, I make my face more fun and fun, it's a form of self-expression, a kind of art".
"My fans know that this is not my real face".
Now untouched photos have appeared that supposedly show the Instagram star without her makeup and contacts.
Tabar looks surprisingly normal in the photos, posted on his second Instagram account in October.
Suspicion arose around his photos after an eagle-eyed viewer claimed that one of his most extreme selfies had been edited in Photoshop.
The warped bottom and the odd lines in the plane suggest that it had been adjusted using a computer.
