Jenelle Evans He did not even appear in the new episode on Monday night "Teen Mom 2" but the drama surrounding her relationship with her husband David Eason was still at the forefront of the show.
Jenelle's mother, Barbara, was spotted addressing one of the program's producers about the attitude she has been receiving from her daughter lately. "Where the hell is this coming from?" he asked, since the two had been getting along quite well this season.
The source of tension, according to Barbara: David.
"She's angry because David was fired from MTV," Barbara explained, referring to the network that took a stance against Eason after he used homophobic and transphobic language. "Why do you blame everyone for that, it's not anyone else's fault but himself."
Barbara also believed that her daughter felt even more stressed after a 911 call she made, in which she accused David of badaulting her, went public. Evans after minimized the incident in the program, saying they were arguing, but it was all a "drunken misunderstanding".
"I think it's the call, the people are calling her and people are saying what happened and she does not know how to change that," Barbara added.
Later in the episode, Jenelle was supposed to go to Jace's soccer game to film with her mother, but production stopped when David appeared with her. The program refused to film anything that involved David and, according to a blackboard, "Jenelle refused to film anything else." Then, MTV showed the text messages that it allegedly sent to the producers who said: "YOU ARE ENTERING MY LIFE OF THE KING Stay on the sidelines", "Never write to me again" and "Talk to my lawyer for you."
Barbara continued filming on her own the next day, where she had an emotional conversation with the family security guard, Andre.
"Jenelle, she does not want to film anymore, because at any moment she commits to filming, suddenly, David starts a fight with her and he can not shoot because if he films, he'll have problems when she gets home," Barbara said.
"I said, I said, Jenelle, this is your job, you've been doing this for 10 years," he continued. "It's not your program, it's your program, I said that you're not even working, what are you going to do if you lose this program, you're going to lose everything you have, she will not have a home."
Suffocating as she spoke, Barbara said she was "very worried" about her daughter. "I think he's hurting her and he's only holding her … I can see him, it's a matter of domestic violence and he's keeping her as a prisoner," then he accused her: "He can not even leave the house."
The episode ended when Jenelle's mother said "maybe she needs to lose everything, maybe if she loses everything she can get away from him".
While Jenelle was at MIA this week, a recap of next Monday's episode shows she will be back. At one point she says: "Keep your heart away from me, I'm done".
"Teen Mom 2" airs on Mondays on MTV.
