President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that
there was no "collusion" between his campaign and the Russians
during the 2016 elections.
The comment came after the special lawyer's office
announced on Friday that he had collected the previous national security
advisor Michael Flynn as part of the Russia
Flynn is the fourth person in Trump's circle to be

The president's comments came after several media reports said
that a "very old" Trump transition officer had "directed"
Flynn to contact the Russians during the transition period.
Flynn is the fourth individual in Trump's circle to be charged in

in late October he had accused the former Trump campaign
manager, Paul Manafort, and his
long-time badociate, Rick Gates, with 12 charges related to money laundering, taxes
fraud, conspiring against the United States and not revealing

George Papadopoulos, who served as an early foreign policy
adviser of the Trump campaign. Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to one
count of making false statements to federal agents about their
contacts with Russians during
Trump reiterated the claim that
there was no collusion between his campaign and Russia after
the charges against Manafort and Gates were announced in
