ADRIAN, Mich. (AP) – Cyber shenanigans for 200? An old "Jeopardy!" the winner has been accused of illegally accessing the email accounts of co-workers at a small Michigan university.
Stephanie Jass is a former history teacher at Adrian College. She appeared in the Lenawee County courtroom on Tuesday, charged with unauthorized access to a computer and using a computer to commit a crime.
Other details were not disclosed. But The Daily Telegram in Adrian reports that state police investigated after receiving complaints from university staff earlier this year.
The Associated Press left a message seeking comments for Jass' attorney.
Jass won seven games in "Jeopardy!" in 2012. Adrian College refused to say when Jass stopped working at the school.
In 2014, Jass performed at Croswell Opera House in Adrian, singing songs and sharing stories about the game "Jeopardy!"
