It was bound to happen, and it looks like the ball is already rolling … 19 black families who deposited their money to start their city may soon be reality TV stars.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … One Day of Hope as leader known as Freedom GA has been questioning production companies for the past few days, who are watching their stories, lives and missions in camera.
We told two women who started this idea – Renee Walters And Ashley scott – The point is on these discussions, and it seems that they (along with many other members of their community) are going to get something down … and soon.
Our sources say that the production companies that have reached out have solid representatives in the industry, and have worked with the likes of A&E, Oxygen, Lifetime, HGTV and other large networks that deliver this type of stuff .. Runs programming on family, home improvement, etc.
Here’s the kicker … We’ve been told that working people Bring freedom, GA to thrive Coming up with a few words of their own – namely, they want to relinquish this content and the rights behind it, not to mention control over how it is edited and broadcast to the public.
Our sources say Walters, Scott and co. Feel that it’s important to say how they’re portrayed, ’cause they don’t really want it to be slim and full of cheap thrills – but instead, it’s uplifting, while black people get a positive light. Have to bring in
And, as far as the lines of the story … there’s a lot. Scott works in real estate and home renovation – balancing family life – and Walters works in a community with special needs. Also, 15 other families are also set to participate … 2 have chosen.
In other words, it is literally a deep well of potential material… which can go on for the coming season if they get the deal right. Amazing things bring wonderful opportunities.
